The DLX Series combines large-format drivers with Wharfedale Pro's largest Elliptical Wave Guide technology, a new improved woofer with the overall power handling around 25% higher than the LX. The high quality, high excursion, custom cast frame LF driver provides warm and open mid range and punchy low end.
DLX Mid/hi enclosures come with an externally switchable Bi-amp mode that bypasses the crossover network, connecting +1/-1 directly to the woofer and +2/-2 directly to the tweeter. DLX Subwoofers feature a bi-amp switch, which bypasses the passive network for reduced losses when using an external active crossover. DLX also features modular, symmetrically ported subwoofers for simple construction of parallel subwoofer arrays. The DLX Series subwoofers have high pass outputs (in FULL RANGE mode) to allow you to keep your equipment count low and your flexibility high - One channel of an amplifier with a kicking full range system attached.
The DLX-15B is a reflex subwoofer that give you the lowest frequencies and the punch you need.
