The DLX Series combines large-format drivers with Wharfedale Pro's largest Elliptical Wave Guide technology, a new improved woofer with the overall power handling around 25% higher than the LX. The high quality, high excursion, custom cast frame LF driver provides warm and open mid range and punchy low end.
DLX Mid/hi enclosures come with an externally switchable Bi-amp mode that bypasses the crossover network, connecting +1/-1 directly to the woofer and +2/-2 directly to the tweeter. DLX Subwoofers feature a bi-amp switch, which bypasses the passive network for reduced losses when using an external active crossover. DLX also features modular, symmetrically ported subwoofers for simple construction of parallel subwoofer arrays.
The DLX-15 is very flexible in application. With its heavy duty components and the ability to switch from passive mode to bi-amp mode with the flip of a switch, the DLX-15 can rise to any sound reinforcement challenge.
