The Classic Player series, introduced in 2006, evolved from the Classic series and today encompasses a special group of guitars. These include distinctive variations on classic Telecaster, Telecaster Thinline and Telecaster Deluxe models (including a notable hybrid “Thinline Deluxe” model) along with vintage-style 1950s and 1960s Stratocaster models and Jazzmaster and Jaguar models combining classic design elements with modern improvements.
The Classic Player Jaguar® Special HH guitar turbocharges the time-honored Jaguar model with several thoroughly modern improvements, including dual humbucking pickups, innovative electronics that include a blend-able coil tap for greater tonal versatility than ever, a 9.5" fingerboard radius and a neck pocket with increased back-angle for improved stability and sustain.
The most famous user of the Jaguar is, of course, Kurt Cobain, who thanks to this instrument created his unique sound.
