The Earth Quaker Devices Speaker Cranker has "only" one knob, but it has it! The Speaker Cranker is a discrete (no ICs or OP-amps) overdrive pedal. Its aim, is to give the guitar signal a controllable little tube-like breakup leaving untouched the basic sound. The single "More" control allows you choose the amount of break up you desire. Just like you would with a tube amp, back it off to thin out the sound and clean it up or crank it up for a fuller sound with a bit of compression. The Speaker Cranker is an all-analog device with true bypass. It is hand built one-at-a-time in Akron, Ohio, USA.
The Speaker Cranker V2 uses silent relay-based soft touch switching. Audio will not pass without power.
