Kantare is a Finnish company that has been making top quality classical guitars for years. It was in a country that is not too associated with classical guitars that luthiers Kauko Liikanen and Uwe Florath developed and patented the Lens Resonance System (LRS). This completely different way of constructing the resonance box involves the use of a wooden mesh over which a thin top plate is glued. This solution has two main advantages. - LRS system - Kantare has patented a unique solution - a design hidden in the soundbox allows a better balance between high and low tones without the use of artificial materials. The guitar sounds cleaner and has a longer sustain (a longer ''sounding out''). The company has patented its idea, making it the only brand in the world to use the LRS?

- Armrest - a built-in armrest separates the hand from the guitar so that the musician does not dampen the vibrations of the sound box. In addition, the armrest improves playing comfort and protects the wood from damage.

- Eco-friendly product - Kantare uses Proterra Resit, a coating based on natural shellac and Carnauba wax, instead of toxic varnishes. Proterra Resit is 100 per cent natural and environmentally friendly, as certified by the Institut für Holztechnologie Dresden (IHD).
