Ibanez JIVA JR DSE Deep Sea Blonde Nita Strauss Signature

JIVA is definitely a unique guitar. This model was designed in close cooperation with American guitarist Nita Strauss. Nita, known under her nickname "Hurricane Nita" is one of the most active instrumentalists on the rock and metal scene. Formerly known for bands such as Critical Hit and Iron Maidens, she is currently a member of Alice Cooper's band and is the first woman in the history of Ibanez to have her own signature model.

The newest JIVA Jr. model is a cheaper, slightly "slimmed down" version of the first model. The main difference here is the absence of DiMarzio Pandemonium pickups - instead, the guitar is equipped with a set of proprietary Ibanez Quantum pickups. The second difference is the different body material - instead of mahogany, which is classic for the S series, we get meranti wood, popular in recent years. These changes give the guitar a slightly softer character but it does not mean that it lacks aggressiveness and speed. JIVA jr. is a great proposal for Nita fans and those looking for a modern rock guitar.

Ebony produces a tight low and mid range with an iconic attack on the high end. It also features a quick response and rich sustain.

Quantum pickups

The Quantum pickups provide accelerated bass response for exceptionally fast tracking of high-speed staccato riffing with crushing mid range and precise high-end articulation.

Edge Zero II bridge

The Edge Zero II bridge design features a lower profile tremolo for playing comfort and stud lock function for stable tuning.
