The German brand Duke was founded with the aim of producing the best possible instruments at a relatively affordable price. In order to realise this plan, cooperation was established with selected Chinese luthiers, who are responsible for the selection of materials and construction of guitars. All finished instruments arrive at Duke's headquarters in Germany, where they undergo full quality control and adjustment. This is not just a marketing ploy and there is no question of cheap, plywood guitars. The workmanship, attention to detail and, most importantly, the sound, stand at a very high level and can compete with established European brands.

The D-MC model is the entry-level acoustic guitar in the Duke brand's catalogue. The traditional dreadnought shape provides a full and loud sound. The top board is made of solid cedar and the sides and back are made of mahogany. The guitar is dynamic and sensitive to articulation. The mild profile neck is made of cedar and the fingerboard is made of high-grade ebony.
