For over 70 years, the classic Epiphone Broadway has been recognized as the ultimate "hollowbody" jazz guitar. Now in a beautiful new Vintage Natural finish with Alnico Classic Humbuckers, vintage-style Frequensator ™ Split Trapeze tailpiece and Grover Rotomatic keys.

Broadway: Broadway has appeared in the Epiphone catalogue since 1931, when founder Epi Stathopoulo introduced the Masterbilt Archtop Collection. Inspired by his father Anastasios, who founded the original company as the House of Stathopoulo, Epi set out to create fine musical instruments with quality materials that would be affordable for practicing musicians - a model that Epiphone continues to produce. The original Epiphone showroom on West 14th Street in Lower Manhattan was open to the leading guitarists of the day, such as Les Paul and George Van Eps, who participated in inspiring and shaping modern Broadway. Today, the Epiphone showroom in Nashville continues to host some of the world's finest guitarists, such as Nick Colionne, who performs with Epiphone Broadway at jazz festivals around the world.
Select Spruce Top: The maple body of the Epiphone Broadway features a "Select Spruce" top in a Vintage Natural finish. The maple neck has a SlimTaper "C" profile with a 25.5" length, 12" radius and a Pau Ferro fingerboard with "block and triangle" pearl inlay. The body, fingerboard and headstock have a multi-layer binding in black and ivory. The headstock has a traditional 'clipped ear' design with the original Epiphone 'Vine' inscription from the 1940s. The tortoise style grille has a metal 'E' emblem.
Alnico Classic humbuckers: The Broadway is equipped with Epiphone Alnico Classic humbuckers, made with Alnico V magnets for a warm and detailed response. Black Speed Dials style volume and tone knobs for each pickup work together with a traditionally connected 3-way switch.
Frequenzator Split Trapeze: One of the Broadway's most recognizable features is its gold Frequensator Split Trapeze tailpiece, an improved design that compensates for string length and allows for maximum resonance and accurate intonation. The Broadway also features Gold Grover Rotomatic keys with an improved 18:1 tuning ratio and a fully adjustable Pau Ferro bridge. A hard case is available as an option.
