The RG852LW is an eight-string RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2014. It is part of the higher end, Japanese-made Prestige line.

The RG852LW features a basswood body with a limba wood top bolted to a maple and wenge Ultra-8 neck with a matching headstock and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a Gibraltar Standard II-8 fixed bridge, dual EMG active humbucking pickups and Gotoh tuning machines.
