In the ever-expanding range of Ibanez hollow-body guitars, the AMH90 model deserves special attention. The reduced body of the AM is surprisingly comfortable and well balanced - compared to the AS models, the guitar seems sleeker but still has the characteristic "full" sound. Made of linden wood, the body has two resonance chambers and a central block. The distinctive feature of the AMH90 is a traditional tailpiece instead of the popular stop-bar bridge - this solution adds to the guitar's sublime sonority and susceptibility to articulation. Thanks to the superb Super 58 pickups and the Tri-sound switch, we get versatile combinations - from warm, buttery tones to resonant and delicate sounds perfectly suited to jazz/blues stylistics.
