The EHB line is a new concept for the Ibanez brand in the bass guitar segment. The renewed popularity of headless guitars inspired the Japanese manufacturer to develop and introduce a line of 7 bass guitars of this type. The unique design of the EHB basses focuses on ergonomics - the instruments are correspondingly lighter, superbly balanced and the specially contoured body significantly improves playing comfort from both a standing and seated position. The EHB1265MS uses a so-called multiscale - the fan-style frets allow for a longer scale (35") on the B string and a shorter scale (33") on the G string. The frets themselves are made from stainless steel which greatly increases their durability. The bass is equipped with Bartolini pickups and the latest proprietary Vari-Mid 3 preamp.
